I found this old painting and since it's still one of my favorites I've desided to share it. This is Chatadar's early design~ no large fins attached to those spines on her back, and her spiral horns weren't very pronounced yet. Done with acrylic paint on an 11"x14" canvas, way back in 1997. She's supposed to be landing on that giant boulder just as a storm is moving in, thus the fog and rough seas.

This is acrylic?? Wow! The water is just fantastic! Great job on the color scheme as well...a gray, misty, cloudy day for certain! Stormy! Can you hear the water crashing???

Kudos for the amazing work with the acrylic. Never got the hang of it, oil's more my thing.
